Gabriella Mazanilla is a wonderful example of this particular sherry style, acquiring a depth and complexity from a longer ageing period than most other examples of Manzanilla. In addition the wine undergoes a very light filtration in order to preserve its authenticity and retain expressiveness. A pale golden in the glass. Fresh and nutty on the nose with yeasty notes. On the palate ripe and fresh with a touch of saltiness on the finish. Great aperitif. Otherwise try with pan-fried sardines, sashimi or a cooling bowl of gazpacho.
