87 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "(roughly 78% shiraz and 12% cabernet sauvignon, the rest merlot, malbec, grenache, sangiovese, cabernet franc and tempranillo): Bright violet color. Primary black and blue fruit aromas, with cracked pepper and herb notes emerging with air. Light in body and fruity, displaying good lift and clarity to its bitter cherry and boysenberry flavors. Finishes with good cut, soft tannins and a slight dryness, leaving a spicy note behind. This wine was raised in a combination of French and American oak. (Jul/Aug 2014)"
