Shows impressive depth as well as energy to its juicy cherry, black raspberry, spicecake and lavender flavors. The wine is enjoyable in its youth, with notes of blackberries, plums, wild rosemary, violets, green peppercorn, and sandalwood. However, cellaring this elegant wine another year or two will be rewarding. Alcohol 15.5%. (May 2023)"

**** John Livingstone-Learmonth (The Cradle of The Rhône): "dark red; the nose has pine cone airs, grilling, is crunchy, smoky, not an ensemble as yet, a subdued tone of raspberry within. The palate asserts from the off, gives a spiced, firm run of content that tightens as it goes, suggests active intervention in the cellar. The finish is punchy, rock-strewn, has a blood tone of clarity with some oak. It’s a bit of a jumble for now, but time can bring together its currently disparate elements. It will be long, muscular and rather powerful. 70% Gren, 15% Mourv, 14% Syrah, 1% Cins. €24 at the domaine. From 2026, decant it. 2046-48. Nov 2021."
