92 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(tasted in 2023 in France; 38% chardonnay, 17% meunier, 45% pinot noir; 2019 base vintage; 56 crus; 32% reserves; 7g/L dosage; formerly R de Ruinart). A lifted, lively freshness and purity bless Ruinart's entry cuvée with a new lease on life. The crunchy red apple and strawberry hull of pinot noir melds seamlessly with the citrus zest of chardonnay. Currently at the end of its release cycle, it still holds excellent freshness and purity. There is an impressive, vibrant strawberry hull freshness to the finish, carrying refreshing acidity and fine chalk minerality. An excellent Ruinart and a credit to Panaïotis' initiatives over the past 16 years. (Edition VII; 2024)"

92 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "A glaze of caramel is stretched over a wide array of candied fruit aromas, the balance of ripeness and mineral freshness spot on, the finish long and moderately structured. Drink now. (7/3/23)"

91-92 points Essi Avellan, MW: "(50-55% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, 5-10% Pinot Meunier). Elegant, mildly vegetal lemon and white flower nose with coffee scents and sweet toastiness. Restrained, intense and dry, energetic palate. Youthful, reductive style with a firm, linear structure and good ageing capacity. Such a solid, cleand and polished NV, never disappointing. (Jun 2024)"

90 points Tom Hewson (TimAtkin.com): "40% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Meunier. All stainless steel, 2019 base with 20% reserves from 2017 and 2018. Youthful and taut, with zesty lime and grapefruit, bright yellow apple fruitiness and fleshy pear and a fluffy, bright palate whose tangy apricot fruit is just rounded out by the reserves. It's a fine base vintage, but I would still consider leaving for a year or two in the cellar to come out of its shell. (Dec 2022)"

Producer notes: "40% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meunier, 20 to 25% of which are wines reserved from the 2 previous years. Full malolactic fermentation. Dosage: 9g/L. A vibrant, clear yellow colour with golden reflections. Good brilliance with sustained effervescence and a very persistent foam. At first the nose is delicate, fresh and fruity, filled with white-fleshed fruits (pears, Bosc apples), apricots, as well as hazelnuts and fresh almonds. Several floral and spicy notes add an extra hint of complexity. The second nose reveals superb olfactory intensity on a more biscuity, brioche-like base. Frank and direct attack on the palate. A balanced wine, rounded and full-bodied, with an attack scented with ripe fruits (wild green plums and nectarines). The finish is long, the well-integrated dosage giving way to the characteristic freshness of the Chardonnay."
