96 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "The 2022 Rousseau Cazetiers is more powerful and structured than the Lavaux-Saint-Jacques, with ripe blackberry and cassis fruit touched with exotic Asian spices. The firm tannic grip and texture rich with extract lead the wine to an impressively long finish. The grapes come from a 0.60-hectare parcel at mid-slope. With a few years of age, this should open well and will easily drink well over the next 20 years at least. Drinking Window: 2030-2085. (11/2/23)"

93-95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru has a fulsome bouquet with perfumed red berry fruit and a touch of clove and crushed stone—quite complex and gaining intensity with aeration. The medium-bodied palate has a svelte opening, blackberry and raspberry mixed with cumin and white pepper, gaining depth towards the finish whilst maintaining focus and precision. This is very promising. Excellent. Drink: 2027-2047. (Jan 2024)"

94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Though a bit moody aromatically, this Cazetiers has the structural bandwidth to go the distance and will require patience as it starts to unfurl the depths of its fruit layers. The tannins are tugging but very fine grained, and the acidity has a pleasant raspy quality. This feels very chiseled and precisely structured. Blackberry coulis, smoked meat and savory minerality pulse quietly on the palate. Don't worry about losing this in your cellar. (2024)"

94 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Luminous, juicy and spicy, Les Cazetiers has a fairly tight structure and more flesh, with very intense, bright fruit. (2025)"

91-93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .6 ha parcel of 50+ year old vines). This too is moderately reduced and revealing nothing at present. More interesting are the slightly finer medium weight flavors that also flash evident minerality on the dusty, powerful, youthfully austere and palate coating finish that offers just bit more depth on the somewhat more structured finale. Very fine quality here. Drink: 2034+. (Jan 2024)"

91-93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Aromas of cherries, vine smoke, spices, orange zest and sweet soil tones preface the 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cazetiers, a medium to full-bodied, supple and fleshy wine with melting tannins, succulent acids and a saline, mouthwatering finish. (1/18/24)"
