93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru is already showing a little maturity on the rim, possibly due to assiduous stem addition. The nose is open-knit and soft with brambly red fruit, perhaps needing a bit more delineation. The palate is sweet and candied on the entry and quite fleshy in style, with moderate acidity and a dash of white pepper. Plenty of extraction here. This just needs to develop a tad more tension and terroir expression on the finish. Otherwise it displays immense breeding. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2017 tasting. Drink: 2023-2040. (Jan 2022)"
93 points Tim Atkin, MW (Decanter): "Cazetiers was picked early in 2017 as it tends to be quite a ripe site. According to Cyrielle Rousseau, this sometimes shows some reduction in its youth, but that's not the case here. Rose petal and wild strawberry scents lead you into a palate that's spicy, supple and sweetly oaked. Drink: 2022-2027. (Nov 2018)"
93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Crimson in colour with the first signs of evolution. Some elegance to the nose. Sweeter fruit than expected on the palate, with some weight, quite ripe, long with a fair amount of charm. (Sep 2021)"
