100 points Charles Curtis MW (Decanter): "Tasting the 2022 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze, one cannot doubt its perfection. The super-ripe aromas of mulberry and pomegranate roll from the glass, accented with hints of smoke, spice, and earth, pervaded by a saline mineral quality. As Cyrielle describes the wine, 'She has more of everything; [while] the Chambertin is more focused.' The wine has exceptional density, firm but supple tannins, and immense length. This extraordinary wine is among the greatest I have tasted from this estate. It will undoubtedly continue to improve for fifty years and beyond. Drinking Window: 2030-2080. (Nov 2023)"

99 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Flavors of strawberry and white pepper in the radiant Clos-de-Bèze, with incredible intensity, full of breath and concentration, which provokes a thrill with its harmony and persistence. (2025)"

97-99 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze Grand Cru has an ethereal beauty on the nose that will surely be enhanced once in bottle and given sufficient bottle age. Stunning delineation despite a tiny reduction that will be addressed during its remaining élevage. The medium-bodied palate has a little more tension and energy than the Chambertin, with brilliant precision yet real concentration and finesse. There is a subtle crescendo towards the finish that lingers tenderly in the mouth. Heavenly. Drink: 2027-2060. (Jan 2024)"

96-98 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "As usual, the 2022 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru is more flamboyant than the Chambertin, wafting from the glass with aromas of smoky dark berries, cherries, baking spices, rose petals and raw cocoa. Full-bodied, rich and enveloping, with a broad attack that segues into a deep, layered mid-palate that's framed by powdery tannins and lively acids, it concludes with a long, saline finish. (Jan 2024)"

95-98 points/'Don't miss!' Allen Meadows (Burghound) "(1.42 ha; 100% new wood where the inside of the barrel had been steam washed first). As is often the case, this possesses the spiciest nose in the range with its perfumed and airy array of red and blue pinot fruit, exotic tea, star anise and discreet floral nuances, all of which is trimmed in moderate wood. The big-bodied flavors possess excellent density with a texture that is perhaps even finer than that of the Chambertin while delivering equally fine persistence. This is a seriously classy Bèze with the potential to deliver 15 to 20 years of upside development. Brilliant. Drink: 2037+. (Jan 2024)"

97 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Enchantingly open, this was a delightful surprise after several of the proceeding wines had been a bit inward-facing or toasty with oak. Not here. Oodles of black currants and black plums lace with fresh kindling, pencil shavings and lit cigar. The palate is both sappy and muscular with the sculpted tannins and bustling acidity giving excellent structural definition. The finish keeps on going and so will this wine as it ages. (2024)"

94-97 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Nearly as deep a colour as the Chambertin. The nose seems fractionally more roughed up but still has the sensuality of little red fruits. The texture is nearly very fine but is currently showing a slightly drier edge, though here again the fruit will win with time. (Nov 2023)"
