90-92 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Notes of pear, peach, fresh bread, nutmeg and mandarin orange introduce Roulot's 2019 Meursault Vireuils, a medium to full-bodied, racy and chiseled wine that combines ripe fruit with tangy acids in a vintage-typical marriage. This is quite rich for a young Vireuils, but I suspect it will tighten up during another winter on the lees. (1/14/21)"
90-92 points Jasper Morris (Inside Burgundy): "The last to be picked as ever, on 12th September at 14%, but with concentrated acidity too. A little more lime and fresh herb to the nose. This is better balanced than the blended Meursault, as the acidity tames the richness, but leaves some of the cooked liquorice notes. However, it is very persistent and I like it. (Oct 2020)"
89-92 points/'Outstanding/Top value,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "This was being prepared for the bottling and was thus carrying a fair amount of sulfur on the cool aromas of apple, citrus and lavender. The racy, intense and beautifully delineated flavors flash an almost pungent minerality that becomes more apparent on the firm, balanced, very dry and sneaky long finale. Lovely. Drink: 2027+. (Jun 2021)"
90 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Meursault Les Vireuils has a pretty bouquet with orchard fruit, hints of apricot and just a touch of almond coming through with aeration. The palate is well balanced with an edgy opening, quite sharp at first, orange zest and a touch of tangerine. A citric finish just needs a little more length. This will develop with bottle age but I would afford it 3 to 4 years in the cellar. Drink: 2022-2031. (Oct 2021)"
