90+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Marsannay Les Ouzeloy is built for the cellar, offering up aromas of cherries, blackberries and licorice, followed by a medium to full-bodied, lively and youthfully firm palate. This terroir is characterized by deep clays on an alluvial fan, which helps to explain its reliable aging potential. Drink: 2027-2040. (Jan 2025)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(Roughly 60-years-old on average but some vines are nearer 90…) Here is the more stony central energy like the ‘Marsannay’ – surrounded by dark fruit. But here the texture has another level of sophistication and direct, mobile finishing energy. A hypothetical blend of the Marsannay and the Champs St.Etienne – but maybe a little more concentrated than either! (1/16/25)"
