90 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Aromas of cherries, licorice and vine smoke introduce the 2022 Marsannay Boivin, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and suave wine with good depth at the core and a delicately cedary finish. It's more approachable than the more structured Ouzeloy. Drink: 2025-2037. (Jan 2025)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(From the heart of the appellation. This is from a parcel of old vines on high with almost no soil over the limestone – the only example in the domaine of goblet style pruning – 5 arms – slowly moving to a more Y-shaped ‘in-line’ pruning ‘that respects the flow of the sap’) A little less depth of colour with more airy and a little redder fruit. Hmm, an architectural structure but so juicy – ooh I have a mouth-full of delicious but very young flavour here – keep it 5 years to start with – bravo! And finishing a little chalky texture too… (1/16/25)"
