95-97 points Jasper Morris MW (Inside Burgundy): "A powerful but even purple. The fruit is notably more sensual through the middle, with vigorous cherry, raspberry and redcurrant fruit, easily enough to cover the tannins. Stern yet succulent, this will surely blossom immaculately with time in bottle. Easier to read than the Mazy-Chambertin Drink from 2035-2045. Tasted Nov 2023."
95 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru opens in the glass with notes of raspberries, rose petals, licorice and sweet spices. Medium to full-bodied, lively and suave, it's more ethereal than the more brooding Mazis. Drink: 2030-2050. (Jan 2025)"
94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a tiny .08 ha parcel). More elegant and attractively ripe aromas mix notes of plum liqueur, red cherry, violet, warm earth and plenty of spice wisps. There is fine intensity to the tautly muscular, if not especially dense, flavors that display first-rate minerality on the serious, dusty and youthfully austere finish that goes on and on. This is potentially outstanding with the stuffing to also repay extended keeping. In a word, terrific. Drink: 2037+. (Jan 2025)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(Old vines – over 100-year-old and fortunately in good shape!) Now this is the most aromatically open for a while – width, height and depth of aroma – complex and pure – that’s a great nose. Large in scale, large in energy, – such a complex wine – the tannin neither supporting nor framing – it’s integral to all the flavours. Saline – ultra complex finishing – Grand Vin. (1/16/25)"
