87 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(25% new oak and from vines of 45+ years of age; until 1994 this portion of Pressonnier was classified as Gevrey villages). Subtle but not invisible wood can be found on the expressive nose that is also liqueur-like in its aromas though here it's more plum and cassis in character. The slightly finer and impressively voluminous flavors possess better mid-palate density before terminating in a firm, balanced and more structured finale. This is a fine Bourgogne and worth considering. Drink: 2027+. (Jan 2025)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(All from the bottom of Gevrey, the vines for the previous in Marsannay.) Less open but pure and still of impressive, slightly textured. Wider, more fluid – concentrated wine. Larger in the middle and finishing flavours – a little more sophisticated texturally too. I’d wait about 3 years for this and enjoy over the following 10+ Another great Bourgogne. (1/16/25)"
