87-89 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A dense vigorous purple. The nose is extremely dense but here the fruit seems to be more in harmony. This comes from plots in Marsannay, which were Bourgogne, then promoted to Marsannay, but continued at Bourgogne level by the Roty family. Much more coherent fruit throughout, this is extremely successful in its style. Drink from 2027-2030. Tasted Nov 2023."

88 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Bourgogne Côte d'Or delivers aromas of cherries and licorice, followed by a medium-bodied, lively palate that's more giving in profile than the Côteaux Bourguignons. Drink: 2025-2035. (Jan 2025)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(From vines in two Marsannay Rosé parcels which are being promoted to Marsannay rouge, but declassified here. Labelled Côte d’Or since 2020.) A more vibrant width of aromatic – lovely energy of dark fruit. Direct again, there’s depth here too – a wine that’s framed by a tiny grain of tannin, faintly saline too. Intense great Bourgogne! (1/16/25)"
