96 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2021 Barolo Tre Tine is quite attractive, as it is in most vintages. Red-toned fruit develops first, followed by hints of rose petal, mint, cinnamon and dried flowers that add an exotic flair. More importantly, the tannins—so often quite fierce in the early going—are nicely tamed. The blend is approximately 60% Ravera, 20% Le Coste and 20% Cannubi San Lorenzo. Drink: 2026-2041. (Jan 2025)"
96 points James Suckling: "Intoxicating Parma violets, violet candy, wild strawberries and restrained blood oranges and licorice on the nose. Full-bodied with filigreed tannins, it’s ripe, velvety, very savory and spicy with licorice flavors. Muscular on the finish, with lifted acidity. Will be released in spring, Try from 2026. (1/14/25)"
95 points Decanter: "Labelled as ‘Tre Tini’ since 2010, Rinaldi’s blend of Ravera, Le Coste and Cannubi San Lorenzo harks back to 1993. The three parcels are vinified and aged separately then assembled shortly before bottling. The 2021 was still quite shy when I tried it, hinting furtively at potting soil, mint and cinnamon. An elegantly proportioned frame is firmly fixed around the strawberry canvas. Bitter alpine herbs lend detail, while fine tannins store tension and energy. A smouldering beauty with hidden depths, this will need time to come out of its shell. Drinking Window: 2027-2037. (Jan 2025)"
