97 points Luca Gardini: "A Barolo of great recognizability, from the Brunate cru, Barolo territory. The nose has hints of red cherry, with touches of turmeric, mint and hints of pepper leaf. The mouthfeel is juicy and spicy, with salty tannins. Finish with officinal-fruity return. Very long persistence. (May 2022)"
95 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "Rinaldi's 2018 Barolo Brunate is one of the more satisfying wines of the vintage. Austere, medium in body and classic in feel, with that extra bit of textural resonance that is such a Brunate signature, the 2018 has real potential. Dark cherry, melted road tar, tobacco, spice, menthol, sage and licorice all build in the glass. The 2018 is going to need a few years to soften and start hitting its stride, but all the ingredients are there. It's a powerhouse, that much is certain. Drink: 2028-2043. (Feb 2022)"
94 points James Suckling: "Aromas of strawberries, orange cordial and mushrooms with some dust follow through to a medium body with round tannins and a juicy finish. Very subtle at the end and slightly open-grained on the palate. It already drinks nicely. Drink or hold. (5/9/24)"
