97 points Kerin O'Keefe: "Showing more spice and herbs than Tre Tine, the stunning Brunate 2020 opens with scents of camphor, cedar and pine forest. This also has a more tannic structure than Tre Tine, delivering red cherry, juicy pomegranate, star anise and tobacco before a saline close. Firm, refined tannins provide seamless support. Drink: 2028–2038. (Oct 2023)"

96 points Aldo Fiordelli (Decanter): "Actually a blend 85% from Brunate and 15% from Le Coste MGA, this is the quintessence of tradition: fermented in oak with natural yeast, racked off after long macerations and aged in large oak barrels. Complex nose of violets, fresh and open with notes of cinnamon, rhubarb and a leafy minty whiff. Vigorous yet mature tannins and refreshing acidity. It may not have the depth of the 2019, but this is still a great Barolo. Drinking Window: 2024-2035. (3/29/24)"

95 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2020 Barolo Brunate is stellar. I especially admire its mix of soaring intensity and energy, and yet the wine also remains light on its feet. Ethereal, nuanced and classy, the Brunate is a super-classic Barolo with the refinement of the present day. Dark fruit, spice, leather, menthol and licorice build into the potent, substantial finish, with notes of minerals and blood orange that linger. Drink: 2028-2045. (Jan 2024)"
