It's finely textured with curved edges, both from time on lees (8 months) and a combination of aging in wood, concrete and stainless steel vessels. The pure fruit shines through with no evidence of oak flavor, allowing the pretty lemon, nettle and fresh pineapple characters to sing. Biodynamic since 1999, everything is hand-harvested. Drink 2023-2028 (Aug 2024)"

Importer notes: "Very pure Sancerre aroma, generous, fresh, without grassy edges. The palate is expansive, then the nervosity makes its appearance and the finish is dry and lipsmackingly good. One of the things I love about it is that it leaves on the lips, not the palate, not the throat, but on your lips, a fresh little lemony whisper which makes it a fabulous complement to simple fish dishes."
