95+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2021 Valmur from Domaine Raveneau is a beautiful wine in the making. The bouquet is pure, precise and complex, wafting from the glass in a mix of lemon, pear, a beautifully complex base of chalky soil tones, citrus blossoms and just a touch of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and supremely elegant in profile, with a superb core of fruit, a crystalline sense of minerality, zesty acids and a long, nascently complex and impeccably balanced finish. Great juice. 2028-2075. (Nov/Dec 2022)"

95 points Andy Howard, MW (Decanter): "0.75ha in area, with average age of 40 years, Raveneau's Valmur is already highly appealing with a luscious, ripe and concentrated stone fruit character. Yet this is not all heavy but has great lift and acidity to give the wine wonderful freshness on the finish. A fine balance of ripe fruit and precision. A very fine example of Valmur Grand Cru which will age beautifully for many years. Drinking Window: 2026-2035. (10/17/22)"

95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2021 Chablis Valmur Grand Cru was picked on September 23. This has a complex bouquet of praline, yellow fruit and touches of white linen emerging with time. The palate is well-balanced with fine delineation, taut and fresh, perhaps even more saline with a crescendo towards the classically styled, shadowy glade finish. This outstanding Valmur will age beautifully over the next 25- to 30-years. Drink: 2026-2035. (Sep 2023)"

95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Isabelle called this a "joyous wine" because it is so expressive and highly drinkable. Its fabulous fragrance starts with delicate white flowers before moving into grapefruit, pomelo and honeydew melon. The finish tacks on some rising bread dough notes. The medium body is seamless lifted by mouthwatering acidity. (2023)"

93-95 points/'Don't miss!' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .75 ha parcel). Subtle though easily perceptible wood can be found on the ripe and super-fresh aromas of green fruit, shrimp shell, lemongrass and ocean breeze. There is excellent mid-palate density to the powerful big-bodied flavors that possess serious drive on the wonderfully long and pungently mineral-driven finish. This is also quite tightly wound and should easily reward 10 to 15 years of bottle aging. Drink: 2033+. (Aug 2023)"

92-95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "From the south facing side of the valley, with a normal yield. Pale colour with light green reflections. Much more volume here than Blanchot. Excellent volume in the mouth, with depth yet also a racy backbone. Very persistent, doing all it should. Drink from 2027-2034. (Jun 2022)"
