99 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Formidable complexity in Les Clos, a great vertical wine, with tremendous scope, particularly dense and already fragrant (coriander, kumquat, vetiver) even though it is still completely immature. (2020)"

98 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Domaine Raveneau’s 2017 Clos is one of the finest Chablis bottlings made this year and, like the Blanchots, it is completely classic in shape and style. The brilliant bouquet delivers a refined aromatic constellation of lemon, apple, pear, limestone minerality, beeswax, just a whisper of vanillin oak and a beautiful floral topnote of white lilies. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and shows off lovely mid-palate depth, with a racy girdle of acidity, great focus and cut and a very, very long, vibrant and utterly seamless finish. This is a brilliant young example of Clos. 2027-2075. (Nov/Dec 2018)"

98 points Tim Atkin, MW (Decanter): "One of the very best wines of the vintage, as it often is, this is a wine to cellar and cherish. It would be a crime to drink it young. It's focussed and chiselled but with layers of underlying richness and concentration. Drinking Window: 2024-2035. (7/18/18)"

98 points James Suckling: "Four different plots where the vines’ average age is 45 years. The primary complexity is impressive. Fruits across the full array of stone fruits with some hazelnuts and fresh white flowers. The palate has a powerful, layered texture. Very smooth, dense and concentrated with a bold mineral core. A thrilling finish, bolted in deep. A great Les Clos with plenty of power. It finishes fresh and energetic. A late stony, mineral finish. Has the fruit to drink on release, but best from 2024. (7/23/18)"

97 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2017 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru is a wine of exquisite elegance. Sweet floral notes, mint, jasmine, white pepper, crushed rocks, lime and white flowers infuse the 2017 with striking inner sweetness and perfume. This sensual and exhilarating wine is very expressive and pretty. Silky, pure, and light on its feet, the 2017 is classic Clos. I loved it. Drink: 2022-2042. (Jan 2020)"

95-97 points Nean Martin (Vinous): "The 2017 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru has a quite brilliant bouquet that soars from the glass with honeysuckle, white flowers, walnut and minerals, all with extraordinary delineation. The palate is extremely well balanced with a perfect bead of acidity, stupendous focus and a harmonious, smooth, slightly honeyed (in flavour not texture) finish. This is just a complete Grand Cru, one built for the long-term. Drink: 2022-2048. (Aug 2018)"

94-97 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "From 30 to 55 years old. Isabelle mentions that her father remembers tobogganing down the slope before there were vines here. The nose is discreet but then it explodes on the palate. Exquisite balance, in the complex drier style of the domaine, wonderful weight, and a scintillating elegance behind. Magical finish. (May 2018)"

96 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Raveneau's 2017 Chablis Grand Cru Clos is also immensely impressive, offering up aromas of citrus oil and preserved lemons, orange rind, yellow orchard fruit, almond paste and fresh pastry that are very subtly inflected by a light touch of oak spice. On the palate, it's full-bodied, deep and layered, with immense concentration, a broad-shouldered, textural profile and a long, powerful finish. In a blind tasting, this is the one wine in the portfolio that might almost pass for a grand cru from the Côte de Beaune; and in that sense, Chablis purists might be tempted to express a preference for the Valmur this year, but there is no denying that this is an extremely compelling Les Clos. Drink: 2025-2045. (Aug 2019)"
