99 points/'Coup de Couer,' La Revue du Vin de France: "Subtle note of cumin in Blanchot, a chiselled wine with an admirable density of texture. Very deep, square but slender, it is illustrated by a magnificent fresh and sunny finish at the same time. (2022)"

96 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The old vines in Blanchot have really excelled in 2018. The wine offers up a brilliant bouquet of apple, pear, citrus blossoms, beeswax, a profound base of chalky minerality, just a touch of vanillin oak and a topnote of lemon zest. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very racy in personality, with a superb core, great mineral drive and a very, very long, very pure and vibrant finish. I cannot ever recall tasting a young vintage of Blanchot chez Raveneau that is as magical as the 2018! Great, great juice. 2027-2075. (Nov/Dec 2019)"

94-96 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2018 Chablis Blanchot Grand Cru is a wine of tremendous aromatic lift, perfume and energy. Bright citrus peel, white flowers, crushed rocks and intensely saline notes inform this bright, tightly wound Chablis. The 2018 is going to need a bit of time in the cellar to fully come together. It is a classically austere, forbidding young Chablis in a style that is unusual for the year, and I mean that in a positive sense. (Jan 2020)"

95 points Tim Atkin, MW (Decanter): "Both of the Raveneaus' parcels face south-east, which is unusual for Blanchot, which mostly looks east, but they are in the highest part of the Grand Cru, so this remains a pretty focused wine. Showing a little more new wood than the other 2018s, it's taut, tight and smoky, with thrilling minerality and bags of potential. Drinking Window: 2022-2033. (Jul 2019)"

94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Another standout is the 2018 Chablis Grand Cru Blanchot, the most demonstrative of Raveneau's grand cru bottlings out of the gates this year. Offering up notions of citrus oil, pastry cream, crisp apricot and blanched almonds, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, with fine concentration and mid-palate amplitude, concluding with chalky grip. Drink: 2025-2050. (Aug 2021)"

94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .65 ha parcel of very old vines of indeterminate age). This too is quite cool with its pure and elegant nose that features plenty of classic Chablis character as well as abundant floral elements that are laced with nuances of wood toast, wet stone, oyster shell and smoky mineral reduction. There is good energy, cut and minerality to the middle weight flavors that possess a really lovely sense of underlying tension while displaying outstanding length on the firm and balanced finale that is a bit less youthfully austere than usual. Drink: 2030+. (Nov 2020)"
