95 points (17.5/20) La Revue du Vin de France: "With fresh notes of chalk and cinnamon, Blanchot is mature and full-bodied, long and generous.... (Jan 2019)"
94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The domaine’s 2016 Blanchot was showing a bit more open and generous out of cask than the racy Montée de Tonnerre. The bouquet wafts from the glass in a classic blend of lemon, tangerine, pear, complex, chalky soil tones and a touch of anise in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and powerful in profile, with a fine core, very good acidity and lovely focus and grip on the plush, complex and already very tasty finish. I imagine that this wine will close down a bit after the mise. 2023-2060. (Nov/Dec 2017)"
94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2016 Chablis Blanchots Grand Cru has a complex, quite beguiling bouquet with scents of dried honey, acacia, pressed flowers and orange blossom that unfold in the glass and attain quite a high level of intensity. The palate is very well balanced with a fine line of acidity, taut and poised with hints of spice, orange rind and grapefruit towards the pixelated finish. What a great Blanchots from Isabelle Raveneau. Tempting in its youth for sure, but it will reward those with the nous to cellar for five years. Drink: 2022-2045. (Aug 2018)"
93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .65 ha parcel of very old vines of indeterminate age). In contrast to many of the prior wines, this is much less 2016 in style with its pure and airy aromas of very pretty floral, pear, oyster shell and plenty of citrus elements. The rich but silky, even caressing flavors exude evident minerality on the sappy bitter lemon-inflected finish that delivers first rate length. An excellent if not truly sensational Raveneau Blanchot. Drink: 2024+. (Oct 2018)"
