95 points Ian D'Agata Wine Review: "The Mont Mains (at Raveneau they spell it so, others prefer Montmains) is a delicately buttery-hazelnutty, glyceral and vanillin-accented beauty that delivers, in the typcal way of Mont mains, a charming, supple, easygping mouthful of Chablis of the highest level. It’;s a wine that is so easy to drink that it disappears from the bottle, and your glass, far faster than you might have planned: it delivers a very drinking experience compared to that of the estate’s Chapelot, for example (a far steelier, more taut Raveneau wine that is typical of another Chablis premier cru, the Montée de Tonnerre , of which it is a part of). (11/26/24)"

94 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "A brighter style of wine emerges with the 2010 Chablis Montmains, which is quite a bit more refined than the Forest. The aromas and flavors are beautifully defined in this chiseled, polished Montmains. Lemon, jasmine and crushed rocks are layered into the soft yet vibrant and persistent finish. In 2010, the Montmains is exceptional. Drink starting 2015. (Aug 2012)"

93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Raveneau's 2010 Chablis 1er Cru Montmains is showing beautifully, bursting from the glass with an expressive bouquet of green apples, white flowers, ripe Meyer lemons and wet stones. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied and precise but enveloping, with an elegantly textural attack, ripe but racy acids and a long, stony finish. As is often the case, this is among Raveneau's most open and accessible 2010s, and its youthful charm already makes it hard to resist. Drink: 2018-2033. (Jul 2020)"

92.9 points CellarTracker.com community score.

92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "I seemed to have a slight preference for the 2009 Forêt over its 2010 counterpart, but in the case of the Raveneau Montmains, the 2010 looks to be slightly superior to the 2009 version. The beautiful bouquet is deep and classy, wafting from the glass in a fine mélange of apple, lemon, wet stone minerality, beeswax, lemon zest and a gently smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and very minerally in personality, with lovely focus and grip, bright acids and excellent length and grip on the very transparent finish. A lovely wine in the making. 2014-2035. (Nov/Dec 2011)"
