The still quite primary bouquet offers up scents of apple, pear, vanilla bean, a superb underpinning of slate, fruit blossoms and just a whisper of youthful reductiveness. On the palate the wine is pure, medium-full, young and sleek in profile, with great promise, bright acids and impeccable focus and grip on the long, energetic and beautifully precise finish. This is still a baby and it may well turn out that I am underrating it just a bit. 2029-2060. (Mar/Apr 2019)"

Pear seed piquancy serves for welcome counterpoint on a finish that is luscious, rounded and highly imposing, if lacking the brightness or energy conveyed at this stage by the corresponding Graacher.
