94 points (17/20) La Revue du Vin de France: "A magnificent property in Volnay, La Pousse d'Or owes its rebirth to Patrick Landanger, who devoted significant financial and human resources to restoring the image of this emblematic estate. Thanks to him there has been a considerable improvement to the domaine's vinification as well as the acquisition of new plots, particularly in the Côte de Nuits. The crus are all remarkable. The 2015 series is very well made, with opulent, generous wines, in the spirit of the vintage, but still digestible... Emblems of the house, the Volnays are of exemplary refinement... (2018)"

93 points Fine Wine Review: "Hubert Rossignol, chef de culture, said that yields overall in 2015 were 'average' — a fortunate rarity in the Côte d’Or in 2015. As usual, wines here are entirely destemmed. Malolactic fermentations finished between May and August. The alcohols for the Côte de Beaune wines “flirt" with 13º except for the Cortons, which are at 13.5º. The estate is organic and biodynamic. As you can see below the results are outstanding, and that will continue with my next report, on the Pousse d’Or 2015s from the Côte de Nuits. [Clos d'Audignac 2010] is smooth and long with purity to its dark fruits. (7/10/18)"

90-92 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "Red-ruby color shows less saturation than the Clos de la Bousse d'Or. A bit lower-pitched and wilder on the nose, offering soil-driven scents of boysenberry, redcurrant, ginger, leather and underbrush. In a very supple style, with inviting sweetness nicely countered by ripe acidity. Finishes supple and dry, with big, horizontal tannins saturating the palate. (Jan 2017)"

90-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(a northeast facing vineyard that rarely gets the same degree of sunlight as the other Volnay 1ers in the portfolio and thus it can often be more Pommard than Volnay in character). a northeast facing vineyard that rarely gets the same degree of sunlight as the other Volnay 1ers in the portfolio and thus it can often be more Pommard than Volnay in character. Drink: 2023+. (Apr 2017)"

90 points William Kelley (Decanter): "Notes of dark fruit, liquorice, tar and rich soil precede a deep, concentrated wine with firm, ripe tannins and good flesh covering its structural bones. Drinking Window: 2023-2040. (Jan 2017)"

A tiny, old-vine, monopole of the domaine that is uniquely more Pommard in style than Volnay.
