95 points and 'Cellar Selection,' Wine Enthusiast: "[$114 list] It is the balance that stars with this wine. The fruit, acidity and mineral texture are held together in maturing harmony. Still young, the wine is still in the fruity spectrum and yet is very ready to drink now. The acidity and the link between the soft dosage and freshness are all in place. Drink now and until 2026. (Dec 2015)"

94 points Stephen Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "Sourced in 20 Premier and Grand Crus of the Côte de Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, the 2006 Vintage Brut is a cuvée of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay that was aged for nine years in the 33 meters deep cellar in Epernay. The deep golden-colored wine offers a deep and vinous, very clear and elegant nose of sweet cherries, stewed and baked apples, ripe stone fruits, cinnamon, chalk, brioche, sweet paprika, orangeade and dashes of lemon juice. Full-bodied, rich and round on the palate, this is a creamy textured though pure and highly elegant, firmly structured, powerful and persistent Champagne; it has a noble and rested expression, as well as a long, noble finish. This is midnight Champagne for noble jazz clubs with fine piano music, or to be matched with noble cigars. Drink: 2016-2021. (Mar 2016)"

93 points Wine Spectator: "[$114 list] Bright and lithe in weight, boasting a silky texture, this finely knit and elegant Champagne offers abundant ripe fruit flavors and notes of toasted raisin bread, candied kumquat and dried apricot. Spice and smoke details echo on the lasting finish. Drink now through 2030. 300 cases imported. (11/30/15)"

93 points James Suckling: "This is already showing age with lots of pie-crust and quiche aromas and flavors. Full body. Rich and flavorful. Extremely long. Taking on aged character. Drink now. (9/2/19)"

91-93 points Essi Avellan, MW: "(60% Pinot Noir, 405 Chardonnay). A big wine for Pol Roger vintage. Lots of Pinot opulence and depth coming with a tropical twist and spicy tones. Generous palate and velvety smoothness. Long, muscular, fruity finish. A keeper! (Sep 2016)"

b>92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The bouquet is refined, complex and wide open, offering up scents of apple, rye toast, plenty of smokiness, a lovely base of soil, orange peel and a topnote of dried flowers. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, crisp and complex, with elegant mousse, fine focus and grip, lovely balance and a long, ready to drink finish. As I noted back in September of last year, this wine is at its apogee today and drinking with plenty of style. As readers may recall, the ’06 is comprised of a blend of sixty percent pinot noir and forty percent chardonnay and spent nine years on its fine lees. 2017-2030. (May/Jun 2017)"

92 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "[$114 list] The 2006 Brut Vintage is an excellent choice for drinking now, as the flavors are just beginning to show the first signs of development. Peach, apricot, brioche, mint and sweet white flowers open up in a gracious, complex Champagne that is super-expressive today. The weight of Pinot Noir comes through beautifully in the 2006, a resonant and inviting Champagne that hits all the right notes. Drink: 2015-2026. (Nov 2015)"

92 points Stephen Brook (Decanter): "Restrained appley nose, still quite austere. The attack is rich and broad, and the palate full-bodied, with depth and power. With flavours of grilled nuts, this is a tasty, compact style, but it has vibrancy too. The acidity is in the backgound, but it gives good length. Drinking Window: 2015-2025."
