This is an especially dark, brooding style, but it works well. There is plenty to like, that much is evident. Just starting to enter its tertiary stage, the 2004 has enough pure richness to drink well for another 7-10 years. The rich, explosive Poggio Antico style is very much in evidence. Drink: 2016-2026.
