97 points James Suckling: "A solid and powerful Barbaresco with fantastic depth of fruit and layers of tannins. Full and so deep and focused, with great length and structure. Bark, berry, mineral and deep terroir and gravitas. Try after 2027. (8/16/22)"

97 points Raffaele Vecchione (WinesCritic.com): "It is precise and blood-red in character, alternating notes of red plums, blood orange, pieces of citron, white mandarin flowers, green tea leaves, vetiver, coriander, and karkadè. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins of commendable beauty and a classic finish that shows balance and persistence on the palate, reminding you with every sip of the splendid craftsmanship of the raw material. Bricco is one of the highest vineyards in Barbaresco, at about 400 meters above sea level. Splendid right from the start, but even better from 2026 onwards. (Dec 2022)"

95 points Kerin O'Keefe: "Forest floor, camphor, violet and woodland berry aromas shape the fragrant nose. On the structured, elegant palate, taut tannins accompany ripe Marasca cherry, cranberry and licorice before finishing on a menthol note. Fresh acidity keeps it bright and energized. Drink 2026–2039. Abv: 14.5%. (Apr 2023)"

95 points/'Cellar Selection,' Wine Enthusiast: "[$144 list] Subtle, pure and pretty, this wine carries an intentional character. It offers dark cherry notes, both fresh and warmed, enhanced by sweet spice. Earthy and leathery undertones accompany fine but present tannins finishing with lifted acidity, built to last. Enjoy from 2025–2045. Alcohol 14.5%. (Dec 2023)"

95 points Falstaff: "Bright ruby red colour with a flint core and a delicate brightening on the rim. Great, appealing and open nose, notes of fresh cinnamon powder, ripe raspberries, as well as some sealing wax and white pepper, savoury and inviting. Very elegant and polished on the palate, with tight tannins, nice salinity, lingers very long. Alcohol 14.5%. (10/16/23)"

94 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$144 list] Packed with cherry, raspberry, floral and mineral aromas and flavors, this red is reserved yet harmonious and structured, revealing iron, tobacco and underbrush notes that add complexity on the long, dense aftertaste. Best from 2026 through 2045. 313 cases imported. (12/15/23)"
