94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Lovely density, with good freshness and definition of citrus and green apple fruit, mineral notes, plus a hint of smoke. Lovely. Thierry Pillot farms just over a half-hectare in Pitangerets, on south-facing slopes on the edge of Chassagne. According to Pillot, it is a cool, stony site, yet in 2020 it produced a result with a fair amount of richness. The must is lightly settled and fermented in large, older casks with a long maturation. Drinking Window: 2025-2040. (Nov 2021)"

90-92 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2020 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Pitangerets offers up notes of crisp green orchard fruit, citrus oil and fresh peach. Medium-bodied, chalky and incisive, with a pretty core of fruit and tangy acids, it's a taut, vibrant wine that's shaping up nicely. (Jan 2022)"

89-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Fresh and bright aromas feature notes of lemon-lime, various floral nuances and Granny Smith apples. The delicious and vibrant middle weight flavors possess solid depth and persistence on the saline-inflected and nicely dry finale. This should come around quickly but also repay a few years of keeping. Drink: 2025+. (Jun 2022)"
