89-92 points/'Outstanding Top value' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "There is a touch of phenolic character (think olive oil nuances) to the ripe and nicely layered aromas of petrol, white orchard fruit and citrus confit. There is both more volume and richness to the utterly delicious medium weight flavors that retain excellent punch that carries over to the seductive, clean and refreshing finale. This is an excellent Chassagne villages and worth your consideration plus it should age well over the mid-term. Drink 2029+ (Jun 2025)"
(89-91) points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Village has a refined bouquet, understated at first, opening with Granny Smiths and light flinty scents. The palate is fresh and poised with fine depth, crisp and citric, with orange rind revealing hints of stem ginger toward the finish. Maybe not quite as persistent as others, but I can imagine demolishing this with some fruits de mer. Drink 2026-2038 (Jan 2025)"
88-90 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Pale lemon. Tight and lean. All white fruit, nothing yellow, with medium plus intensity, tightly coiled, less expressive at the moment. There may be more to come. Drink from 2027-2031. Tasted Nov 2024."
