95 points Matt Walls (Decanter): "Vibrant nectarine notes on the nose, you just know this is going to have some tangy acidity on the palate even before you taste it. Medium-bodied, not quite so opulent this year, a touch of citrus flavour and snappy, citrusy acidity. Rich mango on the palate, it's mineral and long, with great cut and precision. There is a touch of glycerol roundness on the finish. Great balance here this year. Fermented in fûts and old barriques, it also spends a year on the lees. Drinking Window: 2022-2028. (Oct 2021)"

93-95 points Joe Czerwinski (Wine Advocate): "Just blended the day before my visit, the 2020 Saint Joseph les Oliviers Blanc is roughly 80% Marsanne and 20% Roussanne. For only the second time in the domaine's history, the grapes were picked in August (the other vintage where this happened was 2003), yet the wine retains a terrific zesty freshness that balances its full-bodied nature and honeyed pear and melon flavors. It should drink well on release and for the next several years. Drink: 2022-2030. (Jan 2022)"

92-94 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2020 Saint Joseph Les Oliviers Blanc was still in barrel at the time of my visit, but it’s certainly going to be another impressive white from this reference point estate. Ripe quince, peach, flowers, and spicy, toasty notes all define the bouquet, and it’s medium to full-bodied, has wonderful concentration, and a great finish. (2/16/22)"
