92 points James Suckling: "Very fresh reine-claude and crisp pear aromas with delicate herbal nuances. Juicy and welcoming, thanks to the excellent fruit, the lively acidity making this medium-bodied gruner veltliner very refreshing. Long finish, with a striking combination of textural complexity and lively acidity. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold. Screw cap. (Nov 2022)."
91 points Kristen Bieler (Wine Spectator): "Packs a tightly coiled well of power, with a torrent of mineral energy and chalky tannins framing delicate white fruit, grapefruit and apple flavors, before smoke and white pepper move in. Remains focused and crackling, thanks to prickly acidic verve, with a bitter pithy note on the finish. Drink now through 2030. 100 cases imported. (Aug 2023)."
90 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "From pure gravel soils, the 2021 Loibner Grüner Veltliner Ried Klostersatz is the only single-vineyard wine from the valley floor, but due to its characteristic nature, it deserves the special designation. The nose is clear, intense and fresh, with savory white-seed fruit aromas and spicy/herbal notes of stones. Good intensity. On the palate, this is a light yet intense and well-concentrated GV with a straight, savory and aromatic as well as finely herbal finish. The wine is lean and fresh but serious and firm and an excellent choice to be served with fish from the Danube, even with Schnitzel. 12.5% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted at the domaine in September 2022. Drink: 2023 - 2038. (Dec 2022)"
