96 points Wine & Spirits: "Based on the 2018 vintage, this wine includes reserves dating back to 1988. Most of the components come from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger; all grow on chalk. The wine seems to layer that chalk's seabed heritage into beautiful richness, as it combines different parcels aged in stainless steel, oak barrels or concrete. 'It reminds me of architecture,' Tina Vaughn of NYC's The Simone said. 'The smell of a building site - granite, concrete, steel beams. Very Ayn Rand.' Or is it the architecture of ancient fossilized soil, along with a softer impression, one that made me smile at the glory of Champagne. (Dec 2021)"

93 points Wine Spectator: "This elegant Champagne is powered by intense acidity, wrapping its racy frame in a cloak fashioned from the plush and creamy mousse as it carries flavors of ripe mirabelle plum and fig fruit, chopped hazelnut and preserved lemon, with an underlying tang of salinity. The lingering finish echoes the ripe fruit and mineral character. Disgorged October 2020. Drink now through 2026. (10/15/21)"

93 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(2016 base vintage; 50% current vintage, 50% reserve solera of roughly 25 vintages from 1988 stored in stainless steel, concrete and Croatian oak foudres; Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Cramant and Avize; partial malolactic fermentation; 6–7g/L dosage; DIAM). Rodolphe Péters did not expect 2016, a good vintage that he describes as balancing power and elegance, to hold such balance after 2012, 2013 and 2014. It shines in this blend with clarity, precision and excellent freshness of apple, pear, grapefruit and lemon. All the theatrics of his masterful reserve solera build out a backdrop layered with enticing brioche and mixed spice. Its fruit presence contrasts well-poised malic acid line, with the magnificent, frothing, salt mineral structure of Le Mesnil singing loud and clear. (2020-2021)"

93 points Simon Field, MW (Decanter): "Made up, half and half, of base wine from the sunny 2018 harvest, and reserve wine from Rodolphe’s Perpetual Reserve which goes back to 1988, this is one of the most consistently excellent NV wines on the market. Its current iteration is especially impressive, floral, chalky, upstanding, and very complex; the palate sharing notes of dried apricot, plum and lemon pith with more developed intimations of sour honey and patisserie. An exemplary wine with real purity and precision on the finish. Drinking Window: 2021-2024. (Jul 2021)"

92 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Based on the 2017 vintage and disgorged in May 2021, the latest release of Péters's NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Cuvée de Réserve continues to show very nicely. Bursting with aromas of crisp orchard fruit, honeycomb, white flowers and fresh bread, it's medium-bodied, pillowy and generous, with a refined mousse and an elegantly fleshy core of fruit. This is a fine-boned, weightless blanc de blancs that's disarmingly easy to drink. Drink: 2022-2032. (Jan 2022)"

92 points Tom Hewson (TimAtkin.com): "Chardonny from the Côte des Blancs Grands Crus of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant. Crucially this cuvée is almost based on a reserve system rather than a year, with 50% of the blend coming from Peters' perpetual reserve and the remainder from the 2019 vintage. It is in quite superb form, based on a vintage Rodolph Peters may be the best of the last 20 years. Delicate layers of fresh fruit – pear, pineapple, clementine – are far from obvious, tucked into a palate saturated with pure Côte des Blancs energy from the reserves. This remains one of the benchmark NV Blanc de Blancs, at its best with up to five years in the cellar. (Dec 2022)"
