95 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(tasted in 2023 in France; 100% chardonnay; single-vineyard Les Montjolys on the southern side of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger; partial malolactic fermentation; aged at least 6 years on lees; 3.5-4.5g/l dosage; ~2000 bottles). The spicy exuberance of the warm 2015 harvest makes for a generously expressive and characterful Montjolys of pale, bright straw hue. Its clay soils highlight its magnitude, drawing out impressive concentration of grapefruit, lemon, white peach, kiwi fruit, fennel and white pepper. It holds exceptional palate line, with a nashi pear and beurre bosc pear crunch and a slightly underripe white peach tang. Glittering acidity and bright chalk minerality draw out a very focused and crystalline conclusion of great persistence. An impressive 2015. (Edition VII; 2024)"

94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "More giving and sensual than Les Chétillons, Péters's 2015 Brut Blanc de Blancs Cuvée Spéciale Les Montjolys delivers aromas of crisp stone fruits, apple blossom, freshly baked bread and honeycomb, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and textural palate that's underpinned by racy acids and complemented by a pillowy mousse, exhibiting a seamless, charming profile. Drink: 2023-2045. (8/31/22)"

93 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2015 Brut Cuvée Spéciale Montjolys is a very pretty wine. Dried flowers, mint, chamomile, hazelnut and dried citrus are nicely pushed forward. Flinty/clay-rich soils confer lovely roundness, but at the same time, the middle palate is very obviously lighter than in most years. The 2015 has gorgeous curves but, interestingly, less pliancy through the mid-palate and into the finish. Even so, the 2015 is very nicely balanced, especially in the way it marries the richness of a warm year tempered by the energy of Mesnil. Drink: 2024-2030. (May 2023)"
