97 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2014 Cuvée Spéciale Les Chétillons is fabulous. The 2014 is not as obvious as years like 2012 or 2013, but it presents a youthfully austere, classic personality that is absolutely beguiling. Readers will have to be patient here. There is certainly a lot to look forward to. The 2014 Les Chétillons is a Blanc de Blancs that sizzles with Mesnil tension and energy. Dosage is 3.5-4.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: May, 2021. Drink: 2024-2034. (Nov 2021)"

96 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Disgorged in July 2021, Péters's just-released 2014 Brut Blanc de Blancs Cuvée Spéciale Les Chétillons is showing very well, unwinding in the glass with scents of ripe citrus fruits, crisp green and yellow orchard fruit, white flowers and subtle hints of freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, deep and incisive, it's seamless and concentrated, its elegantly fleshy core of fruit underpinned by a racy spine of acidity and animated by a pretty pinpoint mousse; it concludes with a long, mineral finish. Readers will have a lot of fun comparing the 2014 with the more tightly wound 2013 in a decade's time. Drink: 2023-2043. (1/31/22)"

96 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(tasted in 2021 in France; 100% chardonnay; Les Chétillons, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger; 3 plots of vines aged 40-70 years, vinified separately; partial malolactic fermentation (since 2008); aged at least 6 years on lees; 3.5g/L dosage; 7000 bottles). There is both a confidence and an approachability to 2014 that makes for an immediate Les Chétillons of wonderful appeal, yet infused with all the salt mineral tension that defines this inimitable place. Its mineral signature is crystalline, like ground glass, yet impeccably creamy and enticing, permeating every corner of the palate with chalky sea salt and oyster-shell notes that heave and froth with the waves of the ocean that created this remarkable place more than 70 million years ago. Another fantastic Les Chétillons. (Edition VII; 2024)"

96 points Claire Nesbitt (JamesSuckling.com): "Lemon rind, white apricot, grapefruit, chalk and hints of flint and salted bread. It's focused and refined, with structure and muscle, but driven by fresh minerality. 100% chardonnay, selected from four parcels in Chetillon and fermented in stainless steel. Drink or hold. (7/16/24)"

96 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Similarly, Les Chétillons, more restrained at this stage, but offering a luminous balance, highly civilized and touched by a serene, long and persistent wisdom. (2022)"

95 points Simon Field, MW (Decanter): "A comparative tasting of neighbouring vineyards, Les Montjolys and Les Chétillons reminds one of the tortoise and the hare. Les Chétillons is incredibly reserved at first, but with a little air and a little time, spring flowers take boom, then hawthorns and acacia appear and even a hint of white pepper calls from behind the chalky foundations. The wine grows on the palate too, and what starts as austerity slowly but surely is transformed by the rigour of an innate and enviable complexity. Drinking Window: 2021-2030. (7/12/21)"
