98 points Lisa Perrotti-Brown (The Wine Independent): "The 2022 Belle Cote springs from the glass with spritely notes of juicy grapefruit, fresh yellow apples, and lemon meringue pie giving way to suggestions of lime blossom and coriander seed with a hint of wet pebbles. The medium to full-bodied palate shimmers with energetic citrus and orchard fruit layers, supported by well-knit acidity and a silky texture, finishing long and zingy. I love it! These are among the lowest yields ever for this block, but what a beauty. The fruit comes from the oldest vines on the property, planted in 1990 by Helen Turley. The block is east facing and the last to be harvested, this year between September 1 and October 4. 1,781 cases were made. Drink: 2025-2043. (6/5/24)"

96-98 points Erin Brooks (Wine Advocate): "I tasted the 2022 Chardonnay Belle Côte from tank shortly before it was due to be bottled. It's lively and generous with singular scents of lemon drop, pie crust and toasted meringue, plus integrated tones of matchstick and allspice. The medium-bodied palate is defined by its lacy, lightly mouth-coating texture. Its deep core of creamy, lemony flavors is enlivened by mouthwatering acidity, and its juxtaposition of depth and energy calls you back for another sip. 1,783 cases will be produced, and the Belle Côte will be released in February of 2024. (2/29/24)"
