92 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Pernot's emblematic cuvée, the 2019 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières bursts with aromas of citrus oil, white flowers, smoke and toasted bread. Medium to full-bodied, layered and lively, it's chalky and nicely concentrated, with some tension and reserve, concluding with a saline finish. Drink: 2021-2035. (Jan 2021)"
92 points Jasper Morris, MW: " From three plots in different parts of Folatières. Lovely pale primrose, dumb nose, on the blocky side. Considerable weight of fruit, plums and mandarins, some heat too, with some livelier acidity behind, I think this wine has a good chance of coming out on the positive side. (Oct 2020)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "Two parcels, one high and steep, the other lower older vines from the 1960s. The most open nose – lots of volume. There’s a small touch of oak spice and a slowly opening floral aspect. Also very mineral here with more width and a little more plump aspect to the texture. Very delicious in the middle and finishing flavours – extra class. Extra delicious in the finishing flavours too. Less demonstratively long vs the last two but lasting more subtly. Excellent as a minimum. (Oct 2020)"
