93 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .7 ha parcel that was purchased by Pernot's great grandfather; it was replanted in 1957 and a portion of the vines are aligoté). A slightly brighter array is composed by notes of acacia blossom, green apple, lemon-lime and a hint of star anise. There is better verve to the stonier middleweight flavors that coat the palate with sappy dry extract that also serves to buffer the bone-dry and firmer finale that exhibits excellent persistence. This is impressive and a wine that will need at least a few years of patience. Worth considering. Drink: 2029+. (Jun 2023)"

90 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Planted in 1956 and never gives much fruit, so close to the wood. In 2021 this plot really got hammered by the frost. Mid lemon yellow. The bouquet is quite ripe in style, again with this chunky aspect. Quite grapey behind as well, with more length than the Meursault Blagny. (Oct 2022)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(Always a little more power here – the clos shared with Magenta/Jadot. Planted in 1956…) A freshness here still not fully open but more than the previous – fine clarity though. Extra minerality – a width here – becoming more intense. Yes, you can almost chew on the middle concentration here – so persistent – that’s got tons of flavour depth. A really super wine. (12/23/22)"
