91 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from replanted vines that are 10+ years of age). A background touch of reduction is just enough to blur the nuances of the otherwise cool and airy aromas of citrus and white orchard fruit. On the palate the delicious, opulent and quite round medium weight flavors also tighten up to become more focused on the agreeably dry finish that is so refreshing that one already feels like drinking it. With that said, I would suggest cellaring this well-made effort over the mid-term so as to add depth. Lovely. Drink: 2029+. (Jun 2024)"

90 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Planted 25 years ago and dying because of the rootstock problem. Pale lemon colour, with not so much bouquet. A little firm on the palate, undemonstrative though there is plenty of flesh, a little acidity. For the moment it is lacking a little personality. Drink from 2026-2029. Tasted: October 2023."

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(François Frères Troncais barrels, from ‘haute gamme’ – 30% new barrels, the rest 1-3 years old. Whereas the bourgognes are all old barrels up to 8 years old.) More width to the finer nose – the extra complexity is obvious – that’s super. Flavour rolls over the palate, the intensity is palpable and still delicious. Super finishing – with a lightly salted caramel! (12/24/23)"
