92 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Pale lemon and lime. 40% in terracotta amphora, new this year. Currently noticeably reductive. There is more weight to this, a white fruit flesh on the palate, with significant length. Once the reduction and oak are harmonised, this will be excellent. (Oct 2024)"
91 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Puligny-Montrachet Clos des Noyers Brets is matured half in 600-liter amphora and half in regular barrels, which means there is a bit of reduction on the nose. The palate is much more expressive and promising, with notes of apricot and lime, and a fine bead of acidity. Quite elegant in style, afford this a couple of years in bottle. Drink: 2026-2036. (Jan 2025)"
'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A suggestion of the exotic can be found on the aromas of mostly white peach, orange peel and acacia blossom. The succulent, delicious and slightly more vibrant medium-bodied flavors deliver a bit more depth and persistence on the beautifully well-balanced finale. This is lovely for its level and like the Vignes de Mon Père cuvée, a wine that should be reasonably approachable young. Drink: 2027+. (Jun 2025)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "Part amphora so a bit of reduction – a deeper nose. A little extra volume in the mouth but similar clarity with just a little finishing oak – but very modest. Top villages. (Dec 2024)"
