95 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "There are four barrels this year; the grapes have come from the Pernot family holdings in this terroir just north of Bâtard and Bienvenues-Bâtard. The richness of the terroir has delivered a wine with a ripe apricot and apple aroma touched with hints of marzipan and spice. Although the texture is rich, the reductive winemaking style of the domaine has delivered an exquisite combination of freshness, breadth and depth. There is substance here, and one would do well to give this three to five years in the bottle before opening, but the wine should age well. Drinking Window: 2025-2045. (11/2/23)"

94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Les Pucelles 1er Cru is more backwards on the nose than the Les Caillerets, crushed limestone mingling with Alpine stream and cooking apples. The palate is well-balanced with plenty of concentration. Light tropical brushstrokes of apricot and passion fruit lead to a spicy and prolonged finish. It's one of those wines whose charms creep up on you the more you drink it. Drink: 2026-2048. (Jan 2024)"

94 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "There is a spicy top note to the layered aromas of honeysuckle, acacia blossom, apple compote and Asian-style tea. The racy, intense and utterly delicious medium-bodied flavors possess a wonderfully seductive mouthfeel, all wrapped in an equally long and even more complex finale that is also clearly intended for extended keeping. The innate class of a fine, even sophisticated, Pucelles is very much on display. Highly recommended. Drink: 2034+. (Jun 2024)"

93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): From two sources. Pale colour with a light green reflex. A little bit smoky, quite backward otherwise, this has muscle more than precision, perhaps the well ripened family part taking the upper hand. There is an underlying mineral tension nonetheless. (Oct 2023)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "A smaller nose again yet also again of wonderful purity. Hmm – now here is a presence, more direct, more brooding, more mineral – less complex for sure today – but also more extravagantly finishing. If I could choose only one, I would go for this. Bravo! (12/24/23)"
