97 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Fragrant with aromas of lemon peel, white flowers, spice and a bit of smoky reduction. A winning finesse and lightness for the vintage make it particularly good. The grapes come from the 1ha Pernot family parcel, fermented in cask with all the lees and aged in mostly used casks. Stylish and elegant: a wine of remarkable precision, balance and length. Drinking Window: 2025-2065. (Nov 2023)"

94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "There are 11 barrels of the Clos des Folatieres, which happily proves to be the finest of the three. Pale lemon and lime. The notable reduction on the nose slightly hides the fruit, but the palate shows its class. There is a biscuity note, part barrel, part reduction, but much the longest finish. This is going to be a really fine wine and I suspect would have earned a fifth star without the reduction. Drink from 2028-2036. Tasted Oct 2023."

93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Clos des Folatières 1er Cru, which comes from Alvina's family, possesses one of the most satisfying and complex bouquets amongst their six Puligny wines: green apple, Golden Delicious, Mirabelle, crushed stone, and just a touch of persimmon. The palate is very well-balanced with beautifully integrated oak. Vibrant and slightly flinty on the finish, this feels long in the mouth. Classy. Drink: 2026-2048. (Jan 2024)"
