95 points Charles Curtis (Decanter): "Alvina Pernot has produced a superb Bâtard. The terroir, which tends toward heaviness, seems well-suited to her style, which tends toward lean, racy wines. Here the combination gives the impression of ripe apple fruit with a suggestion of something more exotic; the texture on the palate reveals the density of the wine, with a rich, full body and flavours of butter and cream along with a mineral note. Pernot and her husband farm a half-hectare, and if this is any indication, they have particular success with this wine. Drinking Window: 2027-2050. (Oct 2022)"

95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "From the family domaine. Two barrels. A palish colour but quite a soft ripe fruit on the nose. More generous than expected, if anything a little richer than the Domaine Paul Pernot version, with pears and ripe apples. Some weight but this is more in the line of gracefulness than intensity. A good long finish. Drink from 2028-2035. Tasted: October 2022."

95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2021 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru has a more complex and engaging bouquet compared to the Bienvenues, with scents of citrus peel, lime and orange pith, a little more mineralité although it seems less intense than the Les Pucelles. The palate is very well balanced with flecks of white chocolate on the entry; the taut acidity keeps the tension dialed up throughout. There are lovely spicy notes, stem ginger and lemongrass on the finish that shows quite a bit of extract that lends complexity and length. Excellent. Drink: 2025-2042. (Jan 2023)"
