The palate is medium-bodied with a lively, forward entry. There is good acidity and a sense of energy in this Savigny, though it needs a little more depth and grip on the finish, but that may well develop in the barrel during the second winter. The sleeker though not denser medium-bodied flavors flash even more evident minerality on the more austere but equally long, structured and quite serious finale. As is always the case with this wine, it doesn't, and won't, play well young so it's pretty much a no compromise wine, e.g., age it or don't buy it. Drink: 2032+. (Apr 2024)"
