97 points James Suckling: "Very open and expressive with apple pie, stone, bacon fat, aniseed, and lemon rind. Full-bodied and really flavorful with pie crust and a flavorful finish. Serious. Cellar worthy. Drink or hold. (6/7/23)"

96 points Lisa Perrotti-Brown (The Wine Independent): "The 2021 Ross Station Estate Chardonnay comes from Hudson, Wente, and Mt Eden clones. It tumbles from the glass with forthcoming scents of honey-drizzled peaches, fresh pineapple, and Granny Smith apples, plus suggestions of lime leaves, chalk dust, and lemon drops with a hint of yuzu zest. The medium to full-bodied palate is so, so silky, delivering layers of citrus and peach-inspired flavors with toasty accents, leading to a long, chalky finish on this beautiful wine. Alcohol 14.2%. Drink: 2024-2032. (10/15/23)"

95 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "The 2021 Chardonnay Ross Station Estate is beautiful, offering delicate aromas of fresh lime, bright green apple, and white flowers. It has a soft, silky texture and good freshness in its notes of poached pear, and the long finish reveals a perfume that hangs on after the wine is gone. A beautiful, elegant white, it has just a touch of hazelnut and a pithy texture on the finish, with a hint of chamomile, all while displaying good concentration with power. Drink this over the next 10 years. (7/21/23)"

94 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2021 Chardonnay Ross Station Estate is a gorgeous, complex wine. Hints of tangerine oil, mango, apricot and sweet spice open nicely. The Ross Station is distinguished by its mix of intense, overt flavors and mid-weight structure. That interplay is quite compelling here. Drink: 2023-2031. (Aug 2023)"

94 points CellarTracker.com community score.

93 points Jonathan Cristaldi (Decanter): "Alluring notes of Meyer lemon, honeysuckle, and salty minerality give way to a full-bodied Chardonnay with abundant citrus fruit, yellow apple, tangerine with brioche, candied ginger, and sea salt. A bright acid tension cuts the richness. Paul Hobbs' Ross Station Estate vineyard is located in the Green Valley sub-AVA of the Russian River Valley. However, the label does not indicate this. Drinking Window: 2023-2028. (Jun 2023)"
