94 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2012 Brut Annonciade Grand Cru is a blend of equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, vinified and aged in barrel. Rich and sumptuous in the glass, the 2012 is impeccably done. Apple tart, white flowers, vanillin, apricot, truffle and a kiss of spice lend a decidedly exotic flair. Dosage is 3 grams per liter. Disgorged: April 2017. Drink: 2025-2032. (Apr 2025)"
Producer notes: "50% Pinot Noir, 50% Chardonnay. The Annonciade bottling is an hommage to an ancestor of the Bara family. In 1833, Annonciade, daughter of a winemaker from Bouzy, married Auguste François Bara, a young cooper from a neighboring village. Jules Bara, their son, constructed the first cellar at Champagne Paul Bara. This cuvée symbolizes the perfect marriage between vigneronne and cooper. Aged n barrel for 9 months and in bottle for a minimum of 10 years before release."
