94 points Roger Voss (Wine Enthusiast): "From one of Mornington Peninsula's top family-run wineries, this is its more affordable range, sourced from leased vineyards, but the quality comes close to the estate stuff. Sun-kissed citrus and stone fruit are in the fore, with white florals, saline, flint and toast notes next. The palate is more linear and austere than the nose suggests, with salty, high-pitched acidity and chalky texture taking front seat. It's a classy, food-friendly drop that shows potential for several years of evolution. (12/1/23)."

93 points Jane Faulkner (Wine Companion): "A terrific go-to chardonnay that speaks of the region and Paringa Estate, which makes this from fruit taken off vineyards it leases. Lightly flavoured with lemon-lime and grapefruit, just-ripe white nectarine and plenty of enriching spices and creamy lees. Definitely satisfying. (05/22/23)."

92 points James Suckling: "An opening act. Crunchy, mid-weighted and moreish. A furl of smoky peat. Stone fruit allusions and a wisp of sea spray acidity dragging impressive length. This is a joyous, immensely versatile wine, ready to drink. Best, with a stamp of class. Drink or hold. (06/13/23)."

91 points Erin Larkin (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Peninsula Chardonnay leads with aromas of almond meal, crushed cashew, yellow grapefruit, white peach and brine. In the mouth, the wine is tight and bright, with a gorgeous, creamy undercurrent of fine phenolics. This is a compact, spicy, lithe little wine. Lovely composure. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. Drink 2023-2033. (11/30/23)."
