98 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "So much orange blossom and King Alphonso mango in the nose it pulls you up short. Rich and extremely concentrated, but with such wonderful balance it feels almost weightless on the creamy palate. This is largely down to the acidity that is uplifting on the palate, but also lifts the wine up to a rare level for this grape variety. From biodynamically grown grapes with Respekt certification. Drink or hold. (11/13/23)"

94 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "The Birkweiler 2022 Mandelberg Weisser Burgunder GG is very aromatic for a Pinot Blanc and shows small, concentrated stone fruit aromas mingling with flint notes on the nose. Round and juicy as well as savory on the palate and with challenging phenolic grip, this is a dense, very intense and elegant as well as persistent Mandelberg with fine tannins and a long, intense finish. This is an impressive wine and a highlight of the vintage, at least in the Palatinate. Tasted in Wiesbaden at the Vorpremiere VDP.Grosses Gewächs in August 2023. Drink: 2028-2040. (12/29/23)"
