97 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "At this very early stage in the wine’s life, its nose is like a smokescreen. The power and ripeness are already exactly matched by the fine tannins and energetic acidity on the compact, medium- to full-bodied palate. Very long, tightly wound, stony finish that some may find a bit austere, but I accept as a product of this terroir. From biodynamically grown grapes with Respekt certification. Drinkable now, but best from 2026. (9/8/24)"
95-97 points Anne Krebiehl, MW (Vinous): "The 2023 Riesling Siebeldinger Im Sonnenschein Grosses Gewächs hails from 64-year-old vines, some of the oldest in the Pfalz. The nose almost glows with fruit—beautifully ripe Reine Claude plum appears, merging into the finest serene Amalfi lemon. All seems to sink into coolness and zestiness, juicy, stony, salty and svelte. So very long and so very elegant, this is totally precise. (Bone-dry) Drink: 2028-2060. (Sep 2024)"
