91 points James Button (Decanter): "This fresh and youthful red – a blend of 70% Frappato and 30% Nero d'Avola – offers up some sweet and creamy red and black berries, with some touches of herbs and fragrant spice, A streak of black cherry emerges, then a nice dollop of acidity. It's not at all heavy, showing lovely balance, and it makes for a very appealing red for sharing with friends over a platter of antipasti. Drinking Window: 2024-2027. (12/13/24)"

91 points Eric Guido (Vinous): "The 2023 Rosso SP68 is pretty and perfumed, with a blend of crushed roses and violets accentuating blackberries, white smoke and wet stones. It washes across the palate with a liquid floral concentration and tart wild berry fruits, all guided by a core of brisk acidity. The 2023 leaves the mouth salivating as a tart cranberry crunchiness resonates and hints of blood orange slowly fade. Drink: 2024-2028. (Jun 2024)"

Producer notes: "70% Frappato/30% Nero d'Avola. The two varietals are native to Sicily and are grown on red sand soils over limestone rock, with vines averaging 15 years old on two different sites. Two-week maceration in concrete tanks, with pump-overs and gentle punchdowns. Bottled unfiltered. 'SP68' is a road near Arianna's Vittoria estate which lends its name to her flagship white and red. The SP68 wine is essentially Occhipinti's Cerasuolo di Vittoria, without the DOCG designation, by Arianna's choice, since she feels that its quality is not regulated strictly enough."
