90 points Raffaele Mosca (Decanter): "Zibibbo and the rare Albanello grape comprise the blend of this entry-level white. The deep golden colour anticipates an exuberant nose with just a hint of struck match reduction framing apricot, candied lemon peel, orange blossom, and aloe vera. The mid-weight palate is loaded with sweet orchard fruits backed by a touch of maceration-driven astringency. Savoury minerals and a herbal tang echo on the medium to long finish. Undergoes a 12-day-long maceration on skins, followed by six months in concrete. Drinking Window: 2024-2027. (Dec 2023)"
Importer notes: "60% Zibibbo/40% Albanello. The two varieties are native to Sicily--Zibibbo is more widely known as Muscat of Alexandria--and are grown on red sand soils over limestone rock, with vines averaging 15 years old on two different sites. The grapes are co-fermented and aged in concrete tanks. Bottled unfiltered. 'SP68' is a road near Arianna's Vittoria estate which lends its name to her flagship white and red."
